Girls/Boys on Film is a film photography zine edited by Edinburgh-based photographer Igor Termenón. Since its beginnings as an online zine in February 2011, Girls/Boys on Film has evolved into a print publication, a book and now also a website showcasing the work of emerging photographers who use film photography as their preferred medium.
Girls/Boys on Film has been featured in leading websites and publications such as Elle Girl Korea, Vogue Girl, Dazed & Confused and It’s Nice That. In May 2013, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)‘s library acquired all the issues of Girls/Boys on Film for its archive collection.

Dazed & Confused
“Titled simply ‘Girls on Film’ and ‘Boys on Film’ the names may not require much imagination but the zines themselves – curative projects featuring select photographer’s works – transport you from one place to the next with each turn of the page.”
It’s Nice That
“Simple but beautiful things are sometimes the best things in life so when the Girls on Film zine came through our door – doing pretty much exactly what it says on the tin, a little zine packed with a beautiful array of portraits of girls taken with film cameras – we instantly loved it.”
